Hiway 62 to USMC Base -- Welcome Home from Iraq
In 2005-2006, I lived in 29 Palms, CA near the largest U.S. Marine base in the world. These photographs are of hand-made welcome home signs tied to chain-link fences on the highway 62 route where buses brought Marines back from Iraq to the base.
